ipcenter.at, ÖJAB & Die Berater present…

After the larger success of last year’s event ipcenter.at, ÖJAB & Die Berater again cooperated to present their current Erasmus+ projects in the field of integration, vocational education & training, and sport.

In the event organized online by Die Berater, ipcenter.at and ÖJAB on the 29th April 2021, trainers, youth workers and program managers in adult education, youth, and VET were presented results and experiences from Erasmus+ projects.

The presented projects are about the integration of disadvantaged young people into the labor market and to cultivate meaningful active citizenship, raise political awareness, and deepen social inclusion among youth (COMPASS and Europe Through Young Eyes), exchange of experiences of trainers of EQF 1&2 course participants (EUpTrain), developing tools to measure/promote digital skills among job seekers/employees in tourism and retail (DIGISETS), as well as developing a new educational offer in the field of organic plant protection for farmers who are involved in organic farming or intend to do so (TOPPlant).

Furthermore, a project was presented which provides people working in social and care professions with various materials on the topic of intercultural/transcultural care (I-CARE), die Berater presented their project which gives a combination of language learning, cooking, and intercultural dialogue (Language Learning through Culture & Cooking), a project was presented with the focus against extremism (COMMIT), the outcomes of the very successful project CATLID was shown which deals with the effectively addressing loneliness among migrants by strengthening communities (CATLID).

Last but not least, the Erasmus+ Sport project deals with encouraging students to pursue grassroots sports activities outdoor in an Eco-friendly manner (ECOCOM) and the (Co-AGE Volunteers) projects with a focus on the promotion of intergenerational cooperation and volunteering between Austria and Slovakia was presented.

In addition to project presentations, there was the opportunity to try out project products, exchange ideas with those responsible for the project and, of course, network with colleagues from other educational institutions.
